Dead Cyborg is a freeware, donation based sci-fi adventure game for Windows, Linux and Mac. The story is about the meaning of life… and death… in a rusty post-apocalyptic metal and concrete world.

If you are keen on exploring the levels of FPS (First Person Shooter) games, you like the old text adventures, or the sci-fi classics (like Lem, Dick, Bradbury etc.) – you will like this game. Dead Cyborg contains atmospheric locations, deep storyline and mind-blowing puzzles for players who’ll like to visit an elaborate, unique storyworld.

An awesome free to play game, also available in your browser, made by ONE man (using blender game engine).

I can’t get it to work. Does anyone the exact name of the necessary libraries to play this in ubuntu?

Just realized this was because of a segmentation fault. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

      • lf3

sure. find the source code and fix the cause of the segfault

Looks as boring as hell! I’m sorry.

Actually, its pretty awesome. Assuming you can get it working ;)

It looks really good, and it’s great to see a “pay if you like” game, but no mouse control for a first person view game? No play, then.

Slow paced to the point of tedium, controls are annoying. The clues are poor and far apart: the game is essentially walking around small narrow corridors looking for minute items hidden behind non-obviously manipulatable items.

    great! :)
