This game is still fun. It is a clever strategy game that takes planning far in advance. The graphics are very late 90s, but in a good way… if you are old enough to remember the late 90s.

eh this game is really luck-based in a lot of situations. The levels are pretty repetitive, and the combat can become really tedious.

You find yourself constantly reloading save points almost every level.

Worth a shot (it’s free), but not really worth playing.

There is some element of luck, but in most cases you have to plan ahead in case the situation doesn’t work out well, its a strategy game after all. Reloading save points isn’t how the game was made in the first place, but people needed it for when they had to go ASAP and didn’t want to redo the whole level. Abusing it, and saying that you have to constantly reload every level as a downfall, is kinda your fault o.o

It is a great game, and i love the music :p

Just like Robert said, wesnoth is not only about luck, it has some luck, but less than many other strategy games, If you complain about luck and find yourself constantly reloading, thta just means that you don’t try to think and only play hoping for good luck. (I’m sure that if you find yourself constantly reloading, you must have +many inflicted -many recieved on the end of each campaign.).

I just played this game. The graphics are not that good, but the game rocks!

It’s really addictive and requires lots of strategy and planning.

You can play through campains, install extra ones or play multiplayer online.

    Highly recommended :)

..well, even the games you buy in the shop often get tons of updates afterwards,
so I wouldn’t say it’s any different from rating eg. Quake 3 ;-)
